May Super Hauls : Lush Edition [2/3]

So as I mentioned in yesterday's post, for my birthday I recieved a big box full of Lush goodies from my friend Katy! Although my friends and I all love Lush products, I haven't really used many, so it was super fun to open and paw through to see what products she'd chosen for me to try.

Look at all these bathbombs! Yaaay!

This is a celebration of spring in a bath bomb, bursting into a floral fragrance. Inspired by the cherry blossom in Japan, this pretty bomb is designed to evoke the burst of optimism the first sign of spring brings. We've used calming mimosa and jasmine oils complemented by lemon oil and orange flower to bring to mind the smell of this colourful season.
Spring is well and truly here now, and maybe even a little, dare I say it SUMMER peeping through? So this seems like a nice bath bomb to celebrate the summer nights and plan a trip to Tokyo with. ;)

If sleep is evading you, this combination of essential oils will help get you ready for a good night's rest. As Twilight dissolves, it turns from the colour of the setting sun and gets darker, turning your water a shimmering deep purple. The fragrance has been designed to help you sleep: lavender is a soothing, mind-clearing and calming fragrance, used in aromatherapy to treat insomnia and aid restful sleep, while benzoin and tonka call to mind a milky caramel malt drink.
Sleep usually evades me, so this will be a nice bomb to try, see if it'll help me drift off!

Dragon’s Egg makes bathtime exciting as it fizzes and crackles and changes the colour of your water to a gorgeous citrusy gold. Its scent is reminiscent of lemon sherbet, with a hint of jasmine, leaving you feeling great and ready for a good day. Its citrus scents leave you feeling transformed and invigorated.
This one has popping candy in it. Popping candy! I love popping candy, fizzy things and dragons.

A mystical, shimmering purple and green layered bath bomb that rises in the water on a cloud of exotic spice fragrance. When your skin is feeling over-cooked and in desperate need of hydration, the luxurious blend of cocoa and shea butters will have you rising out of the bath with soft, luscious skin. Its rich, cinnamon fragrance will also lift your mood if you’re feeling out of sorts.
This looks and sounds cool, and I really like the smell of cinnamon. It looks rather exotic too.

When you need to clear your mind and float up the yellow brick road, indulge in this rainbow bubble bath. Ylang ylang and orange flower absolute create a heady floral fragrance, lifting your mood. The gorgeous vivid blue of Dorothy turns your bath a dark shade of aquamarine to brighten your mood. Ylang ylang has a sensual, sweet scent that’s used by aromatherapists to improve your mood, while the intensely floral, heady orange flower is also used to lift the spirits.
This one is so cute, I think there would be something wrong with me if receiving this in the post didn't bring a little smile to my face. (A big smile in fact, opening the post was so much fun!)

Sometimes you just need to shut yourself off from the outside world under a blanket of fruity foam that will put you back in the right frame of mind to face the world. This bar is supersized, so you’ll only need to crumble half a bar under your tap to make enough bubbles for a long, comforting soak. Cassis absolute gives a distinctive blackcurrant fragrance, while bergamot adds an uplifting note.
This has been a Lush staple for as long as I can remember nipping into shops, yet i've never considered buying one. I think it's about time I give this one a shot, don't you?

An exfoliating shower scrub that can also be used to wash, volumise and add shine to hair. Packed with mineral-rich sea salt, Rub Rub Rub can be used as a gentle scrub on wet skin, or on dry skin for a really good buff before you get in the shower. Sea salt, a natural antiseptic as well as exfoliant, is combined with lots of lemon juice to leave your skin feeling rejuvenated and it also adds shine and volume to hair.
Sea Salt things are usually amazing so this is going to be great to try. Yippie!

A solid alternative to toothpaste with spearmint to leave your teeth squeaky clean and your breath minty fresh. Made with bicarbonate of soda, kaolin powder, spearmint and neroli oils. These boxes are great for the environment, stopping the need for aluminium tubes that end up in landfill. Simply nibble between your front teeth to break up the tab and start brushing.
I'm very excited to try these, as i'd hinted I wanted to try some but hadn't chosen a type...

And lastly,
A space-dust filled bath bomb with a sweet and fruity fragrance. Once you drop this into your bath, Space Girl crackles with space dust (popping candy) as it spins around your orbit, restoring your good cheer. Grapefruit oil is refreshing and uplifting for the mood, clarifying and toning the skin, while bergamot makes you feel relaxed and cheerful.
It's glittery and saturn shaped... It's my spirit (bath) bomb!

Now which to try first! So many cool things. Bring on the bubbles!
Stay tuned tomorrow for the final part of my super duper may hauls! :D
