[Review] Sims 4 for Mac.

So, just where have I been? Well... I thought it was a good idea to finally buy The Sims 4. Although it was released for Mac back in February, since then i've been telling myself i'd clean up my hard drive of all the clutter before getting the game. I still haven't, but I couldn't resist the lure anymore! I am just now emerging from that state of 'must build all the houses, must make all the sims.' You know, that period of time where you just can't turn the thing off?

[Review] The Library of Fragrance - Cherry Blossom

Spring was shaping up quite nicely there, then all of a sudden... Poof! It vanished! I was actually quite liking the weather perking up a little, but i've had to reach for my winter coat and umbrella again over the last few days! I've even gone and caught a cold, so pretty much all I want to do is live in my duvet right now. It's all sniffles, splutters and Beechams powders, yuck! But before I lost my ability to smell things and the rain returned, a lovely addition to my perfume shelf arrived that really had me feeling ready for Spring time!

[Review] Frozen Rollerball Perfumes.

Sometimes, I buy silly things. I recently went through a stack of kiddies Princess carton drinks to find the combination of Princesses I wanted, as something we could take on our upcoming trip to Disney for a giggle... But I didn't stop there, I also picked up this pack of four mini Frozen rollerball perfumes! The set contains two Elsa and two Anna fragrances, and containing 8ml each makes them a great size for handbags and hand luggage. Well, that was my idea behind buying them anyway... Honest...

Let's start with Anna. The bottle features Anna in her winter gear, and a big pink snowflake with her name on. I'd have thought the snowflake design would be more fitting to Elsa, but I suppose I'm just being a little bit picky. This one is described as being floral and vibrant, which I think was a pretty good scent theme to go with for this character. This scent is made of berries, violet and musk. When I first got these out to try, I'll be honest... It wasn't good. It was quite a sharp smell of the alcohol ingredient used to make perfumes ... It did eventually fade, leaving a really subtle hint of what the perfume was meant to smell like. But I did give them another go, and the second time there was no hint of the fumey smell at all.

The Elsa perfume features the queen in her icy winter dress and is described as fruity and sweet. Contrasting the Anna perfume, while still complimenting each other. The Elsa scent is made up of red fruit, jasmine and vanilla. I always like perfumes with vanilla, so that's a good start. I had the same problem with the Elsa perfumes as I had with the Anna ones, but I found this scent stayed stronger on my skin, and I could still smell the vanilla on the back of my hand a few hours later. Although it was stronger than the Anna perfume, I still had to raise it to my nose to know it was there.

Overall, I didn't really expect a lot from these as I figured they were for children. So while they won't win any awards for the longest lasting, or strongest fragrance, they remind me a lot of the little perfumes like this I had as a child, so they get a big thumbs up for nostalgia value. I'm pretty sure the scent is exactly the same as the ones I used to own as well.

A few good points though, they're produced right here in the UK and come in a nice sturdy glass bottle. I test everything on my hands as I have really sensitive skin there, and my skin wasn't irritated by the fragrances at all which is always a good thing. Although I don't see myself actually using these, Frozen mad little sisters, nieces, or daughters would probably love these little rollerballs. If giving them as a gift I'd recommend popping them out of the box and rolling off that excess fumey scent first.

So if you want to get your hands on some of these, this set is available from Very.co.uk for £6.

See you next time! :)

Beauty At Tesco Advent Calender

Hows everyone been enjoying this fine Monday?

Today, i'm looking back over all the goodies from the Beauty at Tesco Advent Calender! The Calender had a selling price of £50, but I picked mine up a few days into December at half price! Mainly because I forgot to buy it before the month started.... But it worked out even better for me that way. :p

The first thing to say about this calender? It's a beaut. I mean, it looked pretty in the pictures Tesco posted online, but when I finally had my paws on it? It is absolutely gorgeous!

I wasn't expecting it to come with it's own matching bag! I didn't pay enough attention to the pictures of the product on the website, whoops! Tesco have seriously out done themselves on the packaging alone. The entire thing, complete with the pretty bag, looks and feels really luxurious. So much so, that I almost didn't want to ruin it by opening the doors... Almost.

So now all doors are open, lets have a peep at what's inside!

[1] Eylure False Lashes [2] Tanya Burr Midnight Sparkles Nail Polish [3] Paul Smith Extreme Female (5ml)

[4] Sue Moxley Light Up Lip Gloss [5] Katy Perry Meow Solid Locket [6] Little Soap Company Mini Soap

[7] Candy Kitten Turquoise EDT [8] Elizabeth Arden Red Door [9] Pro Formula Peel off Face Mask
[10] Nip+Fab Viper Venom Eye Cream [11] So Eco Foundation Brush [12] Korres Citrus Shower Gel

[13] Tesco Compact Mirror [14] Dead Sea Magik Delicate Boosting Mask [15] Royal Moroccan Moisturising Shampoo, Royal Moroccan Hair Mask Treatment, Royal Moroccan Hair Serum Treatment Sachets

[16] Baylis & Harding Body Lotion [17] Ghost EDT [18] Mini Stylefile

[19] Baylis & Harding Bath & Shower Gel [20] Manuka Api Nourish Face Mask [21] Denman Mini Hair Brush
[22] Vaseline Lip Therapy Tin [23] Dr Lewinn's Renunail Triple Strength Pomegranate [24] Natio Spa Heavenly Hand Cream

:: The Hits ::
Tanya Burr Nail Polish, Nip+Fab Viper Venom Eye Cream, So Eco Foundation Brush, Ghost, Vaseline Lip Therapy Tin
I was so excited to find the Nip+Fab Viper Venom eye cream behind door number 10, as I have awful dark circles under my eyes and I did want to try this anyway. I don't know what it is, but I absolutely go crazy for teeny tiny bottles of perfume, so the mini ghost behind door number 17 made me really happy. I'm also really looking forward to trying the Tanya Burr Polish,  and extra brushes and Vaseline for winter will always be a good call.

:: The Misses ::
Eylure False Lashes, Tesco Compact Mirror
I never use false eyelashes, so I really wasn't fussed about having these in the calender. Maybe I'll give them a go to see what all the fuss is about. The mirror was also a bit of a miss, as well... Everything else seems to be of such a high quality, this is a bit of a let down.

Overall, would I be interested in buying next years beauty calender from Tesco? Yes. Yes I would. Although it'll be interesting to see how they improve on the packaging! It's flawless already so the design team have a tough act to follow. As for the products inside? There was a great mix from all the different brands the beauty department carry, so it'll be interesting to see what there is in store for next year.

[Review] O.P.I Little Northies

Did you see me feature this gorgeous little set in my Stocking Fillers post? Well I went ahead and snapped one up for myself. O.P.I's Little Northies set contains four minis from the stunning Nordic Collection. The OPI minis are an adorable little bottle of polish containing 3.75ml of product, which is more than enough for a few uses.

My Dogsled is a Hybrid || Do You Have This Color in Stock-holm? || My Voice is a Little Norse || How Great is Your Dane?
The Nordic Collection is one of my favourite OPI polish collection so far, 'inspired by the Northern Lights and moody waters'. I believe there are 12 shades in the collection, three of which are amazing nudes which will suit a range of skin tones. The Little Northies set contains two bright colours, a gorgeous neutral and a sparkly top coat.

My Dogsled is a Hybrid : Enliven your environment by wearing this creamy sea green shade.
This shade is a really interesting greeny dream. It's going to really stand out when used as an accent colour for stripes or pokadots, especially against 'How Great is Your Dane'. I'm really looking forward to trying out this combo.

Do You Have This Colour In Stock Holm? : Stock up! This icy blue-violet is in hot demand!
This one seems gorgeous, but I think it'll look better on the nails. Everything seems to come off streaky on these clear nail wheels. I love how OPI do these blurple shades, I think this will be the next colour on my nails.

My Voice Is A Little Norse : This prismatic super-shimmer is worth shouting about.
The shimmer in this reflects the same shades as some of the other collection polishes. I always find glitter topcoats are practically indestructible so it's going to last on the nails. The glitter makes it great for the festive party season too.

How Great Is Your Dane? : Pass up this cinnamon coffee? You're barking up the wrong tree!
This deep brown is gorgeous both on its own and with 'My Voice is a Little Norse'. It's what i've got on my nails right now and it's a great combo. This one isn't like anything i've already got in my collection, which makes me like it even more and it was definitely one of my top picks from the collection, so i'm really glad to see it in this set.

I love every shade in this set of minis and think it'll make a great stocking filler or secret santa gift this Christmas. Checking out the rest of the collection, I think these are definitely four of the best but i've got my eyes on 'Thank Glogg It's Friday', a gorgeous vampy bold red.

[Review] Kat Von D : Studded Kiss Lipstick Set

Following my review of the Sephora Give Me Some Lip set, I thought i'd show you the other set I picked up in my order. So today I have the fabulous Kat Von D Studded Kiss mini lipstick set to show you. The set costs $39, which is about £25.77 and contains 9 mini lipsticks.

When the Studded Kiss Lipsticks were first released, I bought the shade Gothica almost straight away because on the original swatches it stole my heart as soon as I laid eyes on it. The 'sparkling bronze' shade wasn't like anything I owned, so I had to have it! I later went on to pick up Lullabye, a 'sparkling magenta violet' in a blog sale.

Sephora say this set is worth $126, so $14 for each mini. Each mini contains 0.04oz, about 1.2grams. A full size Studded Kiss lipstick is $21 and contains 0.10oz of product, which is over 2.5 grams. So at almost half the size, i'd have said each one would be worth about $11 at a bare minimum, so i'd agree with the estimate worth of the set. Especially when looking at the attention to detail on the packaging.

Size Comparison.

The set contains six matte, one metallic and two iridescent lipsticks. So it's predominately matte lipsticks. There's a nice range of colours as well, four of which are red toned, two neutral, two brights and a nice dark cherry shade.

 Countess || Adora || Hexagram
‣Countess : Matte Hot Orange Red.
I actually liked this a lot more when I swatched it than I did in the bullet. It seems very orange, but the hints of red come out when on the skin. I wont wear this over the Winter, but it'll be probably be topping my list of colours to wear in the Summer.
‣Adora : Metallic Golden Red.
Adora is seriously beautiful, and performed really well in the shower test, and came out virtually untouched. The metallic gold tone to this red gives it a nice shimmer. Words are actually failing me to describe this. I think you have to see it and try it on to really appreciate how stunning this one is.
‣Hexagram  : Matte Blood Red.
I wouldn't personally call this a blood red, but it is a really nice deep blue based red. I do prefer a darker colour especially with reds, and the blue base makes it a nice fit for my pale skin. It's a good winter shade too, so it's a thumbs up from me.

 Sexer || Bachelorette || Wonderchilde
‣Sexer : Iridescent Fluorescent Pink.
Sexer is a really bright sexy pink and it looks amazing. Although it says it's iridescent it doesn't seem very sparkly or iridescent at all... Although it is definitely fluorescent!
‣Bachelorette : Matte Reddish Fuchsia.
This pink based red looks more like a red based pink to me, if that makes any sense. It is most certainly a red/pink blend even though it looks quite red in the bullet. I can see this being really nice for day time.
‣Wonderchilde : Iridescent Neon Lilac.
There's a strange scuffing on the bullet of this one, which made me a little sad. I expected this to be a little grainy like the texture of Lullabye and Gothica, but it wasn't really. It is a really bright and sparkly neon colour.

Lovecraft || Mötorhead || Agatha
Rabbit fur gets everywhere...
‣Lovecraft : Matte Mauve Pink Nude.
This one is everything I had hoped it would be. A very pretty neutral that gets a 10 on the staying power scale. I wore this out for a work meal, and didn't touch up once. It didn't feel too drying to me either, but it might be a tad on the dry side now the weather is colder.
‣Mötorhead : Matte Black Cherry.
This one looks quite dark in the bullet, maybe even more brownish than black cherry, but it is a seriously lush darkened plummy cherry shade when worn. It seemed to transfer off really easily and didn't last through eating a meal. Although my fork was a lovely purpley shade when I was done...
‣Agatha : Matte Pale Peach Nude.
This one stood up pretty well to the shower test, some had come off but the overall colour remained. However, it looked absolutely awful on me. I can imagine this being gorgeous on a darker skin tone, but i'm pretty pale, and it was just icky.

I was hoping to do some on the lips swatches, but since the cold weather arrived it's played hell with my poor lips, so I just swatched them on my arm instead. As my luck would have it, the scratches Remy left on my arms at the vets have cleared up just nicely by now.

I like darker lip colours, and shades like Hexagram and Mötorhead are great for autumn/winter. So they will probably be my most regularly used in the upcoming months. The stars of the set for me are Adora and Lovecraft, both absolutely stunning colours. I don't see myself wearing Agatha, as it really doesn't suit my skin tone. The others are all nice extras to have in my stash, so that makes me a happy bunny indeed!

I really like these lipsticks, and i'd definitely consider buying more shades. I've got my eye on Poe, Wolvesmouth and Cathedral.

Are you lusting after any of Kat Von D products?  Let me know what you fancy!

[Review] Sephora Favourites : Give Me More Lip

When my latest Sephora order arrived I was a bit more excited than normal, as this one contained not one but two awesome sets of lip products for me to play with. One of which is the amaaazing Sephora Give Me More Lip sampler set. I love the Sephora Favourites sets, and i've had the Lash Stash, Give Me Some Lip and the Draw The Line sets before, but when I saw this bumper 18 piece set on offer, I wanted it. And I have absolutely no restraint when it comes to my poor wallet. Want, means 'go ahead an buy it girl' in my mind. So today I present to you a fabulous unboxing, swatching, and first impressions of this super awesome bumper set.

This will set you back $59 and according to Sephora, is worth a whopping $192. The samples included are split into four colour families: Berry, Red, Pink and Nudes, and almost everything is roughly half size. The set includes one full size item, a mini lip brush, a mini lip liner and an assortment of lipsticks, stains, glosses and balms.

::BERRIES::

Tarte || Fresh || Buxom || Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics
‣Tarte LipSurgence Lip Tint : Moody
This gives sheer tint with a minty smell similar to the OCC Lip Tars. I like that it is a crayon tint as well as it's a good size for popping in even a small hand bag for top ups.
‣Fresh Sugar Tinted Lip Treatment : Berry
This one promises to 'nourish, protect and plump' as well as containing SPF15, which is great for a lipbalm. The full size retails at a whopping $22.50, and this sample is roughly half sized. I look forward to using this during the winter.
‣Buxom Mini Full Bodied Lipstick : Menace
There was a Buxom lipgloss in the smaller 'Give Me Some Lip' set and it was pretty nice, so I was interested to try the lipstick. I rather like the colour, as its not too dramatic but still a nice wintery berry.
‣Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Lip Tar : Black Dahlia
I already have a full size of this and I love it, so i'll pass this on to one of my friends. It even came with a little lip brush like the full sizes. The colour pay off with Lip Tars is amazing and only the teeny tiniest amount is needed to get full coverage. So even this dinky sample tube will last a fair while.

::REDS::

Laura Mercier || Kat Von D || Sephora || Hourglass
‣Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lip Colour : Red Armour
 This one glided on smoothly and is actually a really nice bright red. I liked the formula, and it did not want to budge when I tried to remove it from my arm.
‣Kat Von D Everlasting Liquid Lipstick : Outlaw
I'm was really looking forward to trying this formula, as I already have a few KVD products that I already like. It's a really nice red with a matte finish. This also had no plans of going anywhere when I tried to get it off my arm.
‣Sephora Collection Rouge Infusion : 10 Red Essence
I used my points to get one of these with a previous order, so i'm going to give this to a friend too. I love the packaging of this. It reminds me of a little test tube. I expected it to be quite a bright red but it was more of a deep neutral red that seems really wearable.
‣Hourglass Opaque Rouge Liquid Lipstick : Icon
I'm really excited to try this as i've never had anything from Hourglass before, despite hearing totally amazing things about the brand. I did try and order this mini on it's own before, but it wasn't shipping to the UK. Although now i'm glad it wasn't because this is seriously tiny and would set you back $10! But the colour pay off was seriously lush.

::PINKS::

Tarte || Too Faced || Benefit || Bite Beauty
‣Tarte LipSurgence Power Pigment : Flush
This is the only full size product in the set and retails at $24. It matches the mini cheek stain I got with my points from my first Sephora order. It's a nice deep pink lip crayon, and I do like lip crayons so i'll probably use this quite a bit.
‣Bite Beauty Luminous Crème Lipstick : Palomino
I ordered the mini duo in the nude shades as I really liked the lip pencils I got in a different set, so an extra colour from Bite Beauty was gladly received. This is a really cute little sample, a great pink and i'm really loving all the Bite Beauty products i'm trying at the moment.
‣Benefit Cosmetics Hydrating Tinted Lip Balm : Posie
In terms of the amount of product, this is the smallest sample in the set, which is a shame as it's pretty lovely. I'm hoping to grab these in full size anyway, so this little mini to keep in my bag is a welcome bonus.
‣Too Faced Cosmetics Melted Liquefied Long Wear Lipstick : Fuchsia
I like liquid lipsticks, so I had high hopes for this. The applicator is seriously the weirdest i've ever seen, and may take a little getting used to, but it's not a bad thing. I rather like it. The sample size is generous too so will last a while. I really liked trying this so I might try and nab a full size in a different colour.

::NUDES::
Stila ||  Laura Mercier || bareMinerals || Too Faced || Make Up For Ever
‣Stila Stay All Day® Vinyl Lip Gloss : Nude Vinyl
For me this is a muted pink gloss, not a nude. I do like it, though. I hear a lot of good things about Stila, especially the Stay All Day lipsticks, so I have high hopes.
‣Laura Mercier Lip Glacé : Blush
I'd like to say this has a peachy tone to it. Out of the two Laura Mercier products I prefer the lipstick, but that isn't to say this won't get used.
‣bareMinerals Marvelous Moxie™ Lipstick : Speak Your Mind
I didn't get on well with the Marvelous Moxie lipglosses, so i'm interested to see how I get along with these. I actually really liked the colour when I swatched it, although it's more on the pink side than a true nude.
‣Too Faced Cosmetics La Creme Color Drenched Lip Cream : Naked Dolly
The quality of the packaging even for this mini is amazing. It's actually a pretty heavy little thing. It looks quite pale in the bullet but I really liked the colour when I swatched it. It has a little shimmer to it which will look really nice on.
‣Make Up For Ever Waterproof Lip Liner Pencil  : 3C
This is a nice little extra, although it would have been nice to maybe have this in the reds as the Sephora birthday gift this year was a red Make Up For Ever lipstick. I think this may be the perfect liner for the on trend 'Kylie Jenner' lips.

I learnt today that I don't know how to take swatches to save my life.

Overall I think this is a great set. Lots of different brands, a whole bunch of different finishes and formulas to sample. I have seen some gripes about the lack of full size products, as last years had four or so? I didn't have last years set so that didn't really bother me.

Did you get the Give Me Some Lip set? What do you make of it?

[Review] Lime Crime - Black Velvet

Hello everybun!

With Halloween brewing I thought I'd talk to you today about a very lovely black lippy from Lime Crime that could well be the perfect partner in crime for many a festive look.

I am an absolute sucker for matte products, and I was dying to try the Lime Crime Velvetine's for what felt like forever when they first came out, and they always seemed to be sold out. Then I could never chose a colour. Then they sold out again, and so the cycle went on. With the 'Gothatine' release, I loved all three colours and it was more of that cycle. But my friend managed to get hold of one from somewhere (the goddess!!!!), for my birthday! She chose Black Velvet.

The Velvetine's come in a cute red and rosey little box, that matches the cap. They have a small doe foot applicator, which I find easier to control than other similar applicators i've used.

It is a pretty thin formula so tiny bit of product goes a long and colour payoff is amazing. It didn't really seem overly drying, which is pretty important really with a matte product. It actually smells really nice, and i've seen a bunch of different opinions on what that scent is but I think I most agree with it smelling like frosting. Maybe it's meant to be red velvet cake? I'll investigate this later. :p

But for me, I think is the most impressive thing about Black Velvet and i'm assuming the rest of the range, is the feel of the formula. It's like wiping something really soft and, well velvety across your mouth.

So I put it to the test the way I have been trying my matte lipsticks recently. I wore it in the shower!

I am very saddened to report that not all of it survived the shower and a strip wore off right in the center of the mouth. However, I tested it without wearing any primers or liners, so I imagine it'll last longer if I did, because what was left did hand around for a fair few hours afterwards.  I actually I was wearing it and one point and wondered why Remy kept poking her nose at my mouth. I thought I was just getting bunny kisses! Turns out she was just investigating why the outside of my mouth was black.

This is in the pricier end of the scale, and you're looking to pay £13-£15 for 2.6ml of product. Which really does seem like quite a lot if you consider that the MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquers are roughly the same size for £3.

Lime Crime x MUA Luxe size comparison.

Overall? I really like this. It may not last as well against the shower test as a cheaper product i've tried out recently (which i'll show you soon ;)) but by far the Velvetine feels the absolute best. I'd say it is definitely worth it even if I have to team it with another product can keep it in place longer. I'd definitely recommend having at least one of these in your collection of goodies. (Maybe Salem. So it can mysteriously vanish with me...)

Have you tried Lime Crime's Velvetine liquid lipstick? What did you think?

Let me know if you have any other alternatives. I need more matte liquid lipsticks in my life!

P.S How cute is the Thumper cushion I scored on Ebay for Remy?

[Review] Thierry Mugler Angel Eau Sucrée

I guest posted on Expat Make-Up Addict and thought i'd share this review over here too!

Today we're chatting about Thierry Mugler, and the amazing Angel Eau Sucrée fragrance.

I have a few friends that love the original Angel, but I wasn't sold with how it smelt on my skin.
But i'm always up for trying new things so when I spotted Angel Eau Sucrée, I wanted to see what it smelt like. It took a few attempts to find a bottle of this that had some left in, and I actually had to try about five bottles that were all empty first! In the end, I hunted down a perfume lady in Debenhams and ask if there was any I could try.

The iconic Angel star bottle has been iced, sprinkled in sugar and wrapped up in an angel blue and parma violet lilac candy striped box. There was a little lilac envelope in the box inviting me to register my perfume to join an online community. This was such a nifty little touch that I wasn't expecting. It made opening the box into an experience, and that isn't something that perfumers often pull off. It's a seriously pretty package from the second you get it in your hands.

Top Notes: Red fruits sorbet.
Heart Notes: Caramelized meringue.
Base Notes: Vanilla and Patchouli.

I can't think of any other fragrances that smell anything like this. Vanillia is almost always a winner with me, and I love the fact this has meringue at the heart. Meringue! Whoever came up with theidea of putting meringue in perfume can be my new best friend.

I always feel a little nostalgic when I first spritz this on, and it makes me think of funfairs with sugary doughnuts and carousels. That's where my mind goes, although it may just be me. This scent stays quite noticeable for a fair few hours, and lingers on the skin for many more. I find it to still be very subtle on the skin still even after sleeping through the warm summer nights. That's what I call serious staying power. It outlasts everything else I own.

I ordered mine from Debenhams to take advantage of the "Try It First" guarantee, so I could see how the scent smelt on my skin, and I found that it smelt exactly the same on my skin as it did on the tester card, so I wasn't disappointed.

This fragrance launched on May 1st 2014, a limited edition for summer priced at £42 for 50ML. Personally, because of the sugary sweetness, I prefer this for winter and is the scent I plan on wearing throughout the season. I've already decanted a little into a tiny spray bottle for traveling even though it's three months away!

The only downsides to this perfume are that it doesn't come in a refillable bottle so you can't take it back to a source for replenishment (although it is in a gorgeous bottle, so maybe we can forgive it...) and that it is a limited edition, so who knows how much longer we can get our paws on it.

I'm definitely going to try and pick up a few more bottles before it vanishes forever. I really hope the house of Mugler have a change of heart and let this little beauty stick around for good.  Please oh please oh pleeeeeease!

Are you a fan of Thierry Mugler fragrances? What's your favourite scent?

[Review] Las Iguanas Vegetarian Menu

I am really excited about today's post.

I saw GemsMaquillage mention on her Twitter, that she thought more restaurants should take a leaf out of Las Iguanas' book, and a link to their menu. So out of curiousity, I gave it a click and it felt a little like stumbling into the Cave of Wonders.

Las Iguanas is a latin restaurant with 36 branches up and down the UK, and what makes them stand out is the amazing menu on offer. One in particular snagged my interest, and here it is in all its glory.

An entire Veggie & Vegan menu, to compliment their regular menu. The flip side is a gluten free menu, which is equally as cool as I have a few gluten free buddies. Have you ever tried to do to veggie and gluten free at the same time? It's not always easy. So of course, when lunch time on my next shopping spree with a friend rolled around I pretty much demanded we go to Las Iguanas.

We chose some tropical coolers to drink and sat outside overlooking a courtyard area, while we browsed the menu. This is the first time i've been to a restaurant that wasn't Yo!Sushi where I actually had more than three items on the menu to chose from, so I spent quite a while mulling it over.

For mains, I opted for 'The Full Enchilada'. Roasted butternut squash, roasted red pepper and spinach wrapped in a cheese topped tortilla. On spring onion & garlic rice with smokey chilli and tomato sauce. This was really nice and filling. The chilli had quite a kick to it, normally I can't handle spices at all but the veggies, the tortilla and the cheeses balance that out and I managed.

We also decided to share some Sweet Potato Fries that came with aioli dip. I'd never had aioli as far as I can tell, and it complimented the flavour of the sweet potato fries just perfectly. I think my next visit I might just order five portions of these fries. Maybe three more portions to bring home. They are just that yummy.

I also decided to grab an extra little portion of Guacamole because I love it and thought it would be really nice. I think it was about 70p, and it was so much nicer than the shop bought stuff i'm used to.

For dessert, we opted to share Churros. I had the 'dulce de leche' dip and my friend had the chocolate ganache. There was plenty of cinnamon sugar and I was really pleasantly surprised at how yummy these were. They reminded me of a warm doughnut, slightly crunchy, and sooo much better. It wasn't until I got home that I realised I hadn't gotten a good picture. Which is such a shame because the way it was served was super adorable. So I stole this picture from my friends instagram.  How cute is the candy striped bag?

You can check out the locations and menus here. I think next time I might try the mushroom fajitas.

What's your favourite restaurant?
